David Hasselhoff to Rehab? - Bodog has Odds

Maybe you know him as “The Hoff.” Or perhaps you know him better as television’s Michael Knight or Mitch Buchannon. Hell, maybe you know him as the voice behind the smash UK hit “Jump in My Car.”

Any way you cut it, his name is Hasselhoff…..David Hasselhoff.

But while he’s been entertaining audiences for over 3 decades, Mr. Hasselhoff has also been battling his demons in the form of alcohol.

He first attended rehab in 2002, but he was later arrested in 2004 on suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence. In 2006, he was also allegedly thrown out of a Wimbledon, London court-bar for being drunk and rioting. “The Hoff” denied this, saying, “I don’t drink anymore.”

Then in July of 2006, tabloids reported that the handsome crooner was publicly drunk at Heathrow Airport and was not allowed to board his British Airways flight. Hasselhoff’s agent denied this, saying that antibiotics had made the actor sick and he chose not to board the plane.

Then in May of this year, a video surfaced that was kind of hard to deny or ignore. Receiving loads of play on YouTube, the video (which you can view here) shows a drunk-as-hell Hasselhoff lying on his hotel room floor trying to eat a hamburger. As his daughter begs him to stop drinking, The Hoff mumbles, curses and drops parts of his burger all over the floor. While I like making fun of people as much as the next guy, even I found this video to be more than a little sad.

While I certainly hope he gets his life in order, I also noticed that Bodog was offering a prop bet on everyone’s favorite lifeguard and car whisperer. I just had to pass it along.
