NEWS FROM THE GAMBLING PRESS
Google is sticking to its guns when it comes to their ban on gambling advertisements. This comes after UK business Sky launched a new search campaign which directs users to a Sky Poker-branded page which streams footage from the Sky Poker TV Channel.
Despite the clever loophole, the link does show real people gambling with real money. Don’t expect this to be up on Google for long.
Yahoo! has also announced that “existing advertisements are currently being reviewed for compliance an we expect this process to be completed by mid-June. If your advertisement is found to be non-compliant, you will be notified by email and it will be suspended until the necessary changes are made.
Given the fact that Yahoo! recently entered into the real-money poker world, it’s clear that this move is designed to help put a squeeze on the competition.
Be careful of emails offering “sensational” deals on seats at the World Series of Poker. They are most likely a scam. Crooks have been assaulting gamblers with these bogus emails, often offering as much as a 40% discount on what’s normally a $10,000 value. Just remember what they say about something that’s too good to be true.

THE LATEST FROM ONLINE CASINO NEWS

This will also give Greenberg the needed funding to continue his quest for a world title. And at 25-0, the kid’s got a legitimate shot.

The government there rejected their application for a gaming license, citing the law which states that only a single license can be operational at one time. Not surprisingly, the Finnish government holds that license and uses it for their state-run lottery and gaming company. Ladbrokes contends that this is a breech of European Union rules which support the free movement of goods and services.
