Online Betting and Broadband Technology

Broadband gambling is here to stay.

With the new laws put forth by the American Congress last year, many pundits have suggested that American online gambling is on its way out. That just isn't the case. With new technological advancements, gambling is becoming easier and more accessible for Americans.

Read this article at eog.com news. It gives a clear picture of where we're headed.

In only a handful of years, people will be able to bet on virtually any sporting event in the world in a matter of seconds. People will be able to pull out their cellphone and make a wager from anywhere in the world.

PAY PER VIEW

Perhaps more amazing, people will be able to choose the programming they want with one touch tone, thus being able to watch the outcome of any game on which they wager.

I'm not talking about just the NFL and NBA and Major League Baseball. I'm talking about Australian Rules Football and the English Premeir League. I'm talking about cricket and snooker and horse racing. Well, actually, I guess horse racing is already like that in America. That's because gambling on horses is moral, while gambling on anything else is (apparently) immoral.

WHOLE NEW HORIZONS

But to my point, don't think your gambling options are shrinking.

In fact, we are on the edge of a gambling explosion. Not too long from now, internet hookups will be hundreds of times faster than they are presently. When that time comes, we'll be able to watch any show or sporting event in the world.

Pay-per-view will become for one channel or show, not for an entire package. And gambling will become more widespread than it has ever been before. So keep your hopes up and your head up.
