Pokerstars Sunday Million Results for May 6, 2007

Pokerstars is coming off another successful Sunday Million. Nearly 6,700 players joined the event this time around, which was won by a newcomer named JB_Dog.

JB_Dog was the big stack coming to the final table. He had nearly 45% of the table chips and more or less bullied the final table for the big win. The Dog put out half of the final table and was never in danger of losing the chip lead.

TheSeraph was active at the final table, pushing out a couple of opponents along the way. That roll came to an end when the game became a three-way. TheSeraph lost chips over the first ten minutes of this phase, then fell victim to JB_Dog on an all-in.

Typically, players in the Final 2 negotiate a percentage finish with their opponent. This wasn't the case with JB-Dog and berdyfish, who decided to play it out to the bitter finish with $52 million and $14 million, respectively. I applaud this decision, which in my mind is how a No-Limit Texas Hold 'Em tournament is supposed to end.
