Rosie O'Donnell vs. Elisabeth Hasselbeck - Bodog Odds

Rosie O’Donnell is back in the news (big surprise) after a heated argument on Wednesday with The View co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

The segment started out with a discussion of President Bush’s various failings, and then it turned to the war in Iraq. Hasselbeck gave her opinions, and then Rosie responded. Within a short span of time, all hell was breaking loose, and the “discussion” was shows without commercial breaks and on a split screen.

O’Donnell criticized Hasselbeck for not standing up for her when the media had suggested that she had called U.S. troops “terrorists” during a previous debate.

“You said nothing, and that’s cowardly,” said O’Donnell.

That didn’t sit well at all with the sexy conservative, and she fired back with, “They’re your thoughts! Defend your own insinuations!”

Rosie will be leaving the show next month, and she claimed that she will fight no more forever. “So for three weeks, you can say all the Republican crap you want,” she told Hasselbeck.

Sadly, the whole affair didn’t end with a brawl. While Hasselbeck is the easily the finest woman on the show, she would have been no match for the much larger (and more manly) O’Donnell. Still, she might have ended up having her clothes pulled off, and that would have been a sight worth seeing (Hasselbeck, not O’Donnell).

THE DONALD GIVES HIS OPINION

Even Donald Trump had something to say about the incident. Of course, it my have been prompted by the fact that Hasselbeck called him “obnoxious” at a point in the argument. Said Trump, “I’ve always said Rosie is very self-destructive. As far as Elisabeth Hasslebeck, I’ve always said that she’s probably the dumbest person on television, but when she called me obnoxious, she was probably right.”

I almost hate to see Rosie leave, as she constantly seems to generate bets from Bodog. Here’s hoping that she remains as controversial as ever on her next project (maybe Stakeout 3 or Exit to Eden 2.
