WSOP Online Virtual Poker Challenge by Milwaukee's Best Light

The 2007 WSOP has started, but it isn't too early to start thinking about the 2008 World Series of Poker.

The official sponsor of the 2008 World Series of Poker is giving away free passes to the WSOP Main Event.

Milwaukee's Best Light is hosting the WSOP Online Virtual Poker Challenge, a seven-week internet tournament. The top point scorers in this tournament get an all-expense paid trip to this year's World Series of Poker Main Event.

Action finishes up on June 22. Each week, the top 500 finishers are placed into a tournament. The winner gets a free trip to the big show.

What's different about this tourney and so many WSOP free buy-in events is the way points are gathered. Not only do you get points for winning, players can earn points in other ways. By answering poker trivia questions and surveys, players get extra points in the competition. You can also get points for referring people to the event, or entering product codes from ads on the site.
