2007 World Series of Poker Update

The Main Event of the 2007 World Series of Poker just keeps right on rolling along. Here are some updates on what’s been going on.
Day 1B
Survivors of the day included five former Main Event champions, Joe Hachem, Scotty Nguyen, Tom McEvoy, Berry Johnston and Dan Harrington. Other players that survived the long day included Matt Matros, David 'The Dragon' Pham, John Duthie, Cliff 'JohnnyBax' Josephy, Evelyn Ng and Tony G.
Notable eliminations included eight-time WSOP bracelet winner Erik Seidel, Isabelle Mercier, Kathy Liebert, Jennifer Harman, Justin Bonomo, Jeffrey Lisandro, Howard Lederer, Annie Duke, Paul 'Beanie" Nobles and Kevin "BeL0WaB0Ve" Saul.
Jason Holbrook also became the first blind person to compete in a World Series of Poker event. An assistant informed him of his hole cards and described the action around him. Holbrook was eliminated later in the day when his top pair was beaten by a straight flush draw.
Day 1C
Notable eliminations included Gavin Griffin, Vanessa Rousso, Greg Raymer, Jennifer Tilly, Shannon Elizabeth, Jose Canseco, Antonio Tarver, Phil Ivey, Kenna James, Andy Bloch and T.J. Cloutier.
Survivors included Jason Alexander, Chris Ferguson, Chris Moneymaker, Brad Daugherty and Robert Varkonyi.
Day 1D
Eliminations included Phil Hellmuth, Jamie Gold, Hank Azaria, Chip Reese, Michael Craig, Dutch Boyd, Cyndy Violette, Freddy Deeb.
Survivors included Daniel Negreanu, Jon Turner, Gus Hansen, Chip Jett and Karina Jett.
Day 2A
In the first 2 hours, over 200 players were eliminated. Eliminations included Joe Hachem, Tom McEvoy, Montel Williams, Tom Schneider, Tony G, Dan Harrington, Joe Sebok and Jeff Madsen.
Day 2B
Chris Ferguson doubled up at one point.
Carlo Mortenson was positioned among the chip leaders in the early stages of the day.
Seinfeld actor Jason Alexander is still in the thick of things.
Gus Hansen was playing strong and had built up a stack worth over $400,000.
Daniel Negreanu was eliminated after his pair of eights fell before his opponent’s trip eights.
