Kanye West vs. 50 Cent - Bodog Odds


We’ve witnessed Rocky Balboa vs. Apollo Creed, Mike Tyson vs. Evander Holyfield and even David Hasselhoff vs. a cheeseburger. Now we get Kanye West vs. 50 Cent.

Both of these guys have sold a ton of records, and both of their latest albums are scheduled to be released on September 11th of 2007. The only question left to answer is whose album will sell the most copies?

KANYE VS. FIDDY

While the odds may favor 50 Cent, you can’t count Kanye out. Just ask Mike Myers. Let’s take a brief look at the previous studio albums by both men.

50 Cent

Get Rich or Die Tryin’ (2003) - Produced by Dr. Dre and Eminem, it produced the number one single of the year (“In da Club”). The album sold 872,000 copies in its first week, and it became the best-selling album of 2003 with 6.5 million copies sold. It was the first time since 1994 that an artist had the number one song and number one album for the year.

The Massacre (2005) - The album sold 1.14 million copies in its first 4 days and reached number one on the Billboard 200 and UK Album Chart that year.

Curtis (2007)- The third studio album by 50 Cent, this album will feature guests such as Mary J. Blige, Timbaland, Eminem and Justin Timberlake. It was originally scheduled to be released on June 26th, but it was moved back so that fans around the world could receive the album at the same time.


Kanye West

The College Dropout (2004) - The album reached #1 on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop album chart and #2 on the Billboard 200. TIME magazine selected it as one of the 100 best albums of all time.

Late Registration (2005) - The album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 and sold 900,000 copies in its first week. Nominated for numerous awards, it went on to be one of the biggest hits of 2005.

Graduation (2007) - His latest album will feature guests such as Daft Punk, Chris Martin and Mos Def.
