Bad Boys of Poker - Bodog Odds

PokerNews is hosting their first-ever live event, and it’s taking place in the land down under. That’s right, the Crown Casino in Melbourne, Australia will play host to the PokerNews Cup from October 21st through the 29th.

The event will feature six championship events, which will range from a $175 No Limit Hold’em event to a three-day $3,000 No Limit Hold’em Main Event. The latter is expected to generate a prize pool in excess of $1million.

THE BAD BOYS OF POKER

On Wednesday, October 24th, a special invitation-only event will be taking place. Dubbed the “PokerNews Australian Bad Boys of Poker $10,000 Invitational,” this event will feature some of the biggest mouths in the game. If you like trash talking, then this is one you won’t want to miss. Luckily, it will be televised live on televisions across the globe.

BODOG ODDS

Bodog is offering odds on who will be the last Bad Boy standing. Take a look at the options, along with a little about each player.


David Saab (5/1) - A high-stakes player at the Crown Casino, David recently won the $5000 Heads Up event at the Aussie Millions.

Jeff Lisandro (4/1) - A feared cash game player, Lisandro won a WSOP bracelet in 2007 at the $2,000 Seven Card Stud event.

Tony G (4/1) - He’s won over $2 million and is the reigning WPT Bad Boy of Poker.

Gary Benson (10/1) - Well known in the Australian poker scene. He became the first Australian to win a WSOP bracelet in 1996.

Joe Hachem (5/2) - He won the WSOP Main Event in 2005. He is also one of only two players to have career earnings in excess of $10 million.

Arul Thillai (10/1) - He made three final tables at the 2006 Aussie Millions and cashed in the $10,000 Pot Limit Omaha event at the 2006 WSOP.

Emad Tahtouh (10/1) - Made the final table of the $2,000 Pot Limit Hold’em event at the 2006 WSOP. He also finished 2nd at the European Poker Tour in London.

Mark Vos (5/1) - Won the $2,000 No Limit Hold’em event at the 2006 WSOP. He is also well-known on the Australian and online poker scene.

Billy Argyrols (10/1) - A well-known Australian player who has been competing since the late eighties.

Sam Khouiss (10/1) - Finished in the money of both the 2006 and 2007 WSOP Main Event. He has over $400,000 in tournament winnings.
