NFL Odds from Bodog - A Look Back

With the NFL season winding down, I thought it would fun to look back at some of the Bodog odds offered before the season got started. So let’s jump on in the Dare to Gamble time machines and get this party started! (Please note that winners are highlighted in bold.)

OFFENSIVE ROOKIE OF THE YEAR

Calvin Johnson - 9/2 (756 receiving yards and 5 total touchdowns)
Marshawn Lynch - 5/1 (1,115 yards rushing and 8 total touchdowns)
Adrian Peterson - 13/2 (1,341 yards rushing and 13 total touchdowns)
JaMarcus Russell - 7/1 (not much playing time in 2007)
Brady Quinn - 9/1 (only attempted 8 passes in the regular season)
Brandon Jackson - 10/1 (a major bust for the Pack, but they lucked out with Ryan Grant)

Patrick Willis - 7/1 (led the league in tackles with 174 total and 135 solo. Also had 4 sacks. One coach referred to him as a “rolling ball of butcher knives.”)
Gaines Adams - 8/1 (finished with 28 solo tackles and 6 sacks)
Jamaal Anderson - 12/1 (26 solo tackles and no sacks)
Lawrence Timmons - 12/1 (11 solo tackles and no sacks)
Anthony Spencer - 12/1 (28 solo tackles and 3 sacks)
LaRon Landry - 14/1 (63 solo tackles, 1.5 sacks)
Darrelle Revis - 18/1 (74 solo tackles and 3 interceptions. Also had 17 defended passes.)
Paul Posluszny - 18/1 (had season cut short due to an injury)
Reggie Nelson - 25/1 (58 solo tackles, 1 sack, 11 passes defended and 5 interceptions).
Jon Beason - 30/1 (finished 3rd in tackles with 140 and had one interception.)
