Dana White even went back to try and calm Guillard down.
Lyoto Machida vs. Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou - Machida won by arm triangle choke submission at 4:18 of the second round. While Machida’s fights are usually booed by the crowd, he finally seemed to win them over with this effort. And another PRIDE fighter looks very mortal.

Chuck Liddell vs. Wanderlei Silva - Liddell won by unanimous decision (29-28, 30-27 and 30-27). Both men beat the hell out of each other, and the crowd was really into this fight. Silva is now on a three-fight losing streak, but the crowd really seemed to appreciate his effort. Too bad this fight couldn’t have happened years ago. The UFC named this bout as the fight of the night.
(Interim Welterweight Title) Georges St. Pierre vs. Matt Hughes - St. Pierre won with an armbar submission at 4:52 of the second round. He dominated Hughes throughout the fight. The UFC named this the submission of the night.
BODOG UNDERDOGS
Unfortunately, there were no major upsets in the main card, according to Bodog odds. Machida, Liddell and St. Pierre were all favored, but that doesn’t mean that UFC 80 won’t be completely different. That’s the great thing about MMA.
