Arena League Football - Week 1

Tonight begins the 22nd season of the Arena Football League. Regular season games will be played until June 22nd, with ArenaBowl XXII taking place in New Orleans on July 27th, 2008.

There have been a few changes in the league, as it has been announced that the Austin Wranglers will be moving down to the af2 minor league. The Nashville Kats are out of business, and the Las Vegas Gladiators moved to sunny Cleveland. That means that a total of 17 teams will be competing for the championship currently held by the San Jose SaberCats.
