March Madness - Top 25 Rankings

March Madness is getting closer every day, so I thought it might be time to take a look at the current NCAA Division I Men’s rankings. These are the very same rankings which will be used on Selection Sunday to seed the teams and create the brackets, although they may change several times between now and then.

If you really love NCAA basketball and can’t wait until March Madness begins, why not visit Bodog and place a few wagers on your favorite team? It’s a great way to stay interested in all the games, even when your alma mater is playing one of the bottom feeders.

RATINGS PERCENTAGE INDEX

The Ratings Percentage Index (or RPI) is designed to provide supplementary material for the selection committee to consider when selecting tournament seeding and at-large teams. While it factors in such material as record of opponents and winning percentage, it cannot include factors such as injuries, recent win/loss streaks, travel difficulties, etc.

It remains, however, a useful guide for the committee when Selection Sunday rolls around.
