NBA All-Star Game - Bodog Odds
On Saturday, February 17th, the 57th NBA All-Star Game will take place at the New Orleans Arena. The game will be shown on TNT and broadcast to homes in more than 200 countries. This will be the first time an All-Star game has been held in New Orleans.I can’t wait to see how many players get into trouble or end up being arrested on Bourbon Street. You just know that Commissioner Stern is keeping his fingers crossed, as the potential for a PR nightmare is almost tangible.
Besides the game itself, two of the biggest attractions during the All-Star weekend are the Slam Dunk Contest and Three-Point Shootout (both of which take place on Saturday the 16th). They’re popular because they draw some of the biggest names in the game, but they also don’t drag out for 2 ½ hours. You can sit down, watch them, and be done in just a few minutes.
If you’re a regular reader here at Dare to Gamble, then it should come as no surprise to find that Bodog is offering wagers on these upcoming events. Let’s take a look.
THE SLAM DUNK CONTEST
Nothing is cooler than watching NBA players soar through the air and perform a slam dunk. Legions of fans must agree, as the Slam Dunk contest seems to have become one of the most popular events during the All-Star festivities. Just for the fun of it, let’s look at the winners from the last decade.
