Bodog Odds on the President of the United States

While Republican presidential candidate John McCain took sole possession of the GOP nomination last week, Democrats Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama continue to battle it out for their party’s nomination. Clinton avoided certain doom last week by winning both the Texas and Ohio primaries, but Obama continues to lead by around 100 delegates. His most recent win came Saturday in Wyoming.

The Mississippi primary is today, and Obama is favored to win that one. Clinton, meanwhile, is a favorite to take the Pennsylvania primary on April 22nd. Meanwhile, McCain gets to focus all his efforts on picking apart both of his possible opponents.

THE DREAM TEAM

Last week, Clinton hinted that the two Democratic candidates might combine forces for a November dream team, with Clinton in the top spot. Obama, however, dismissed that idea on Monday.

“With all due respect, I have won twice as many states as Senator Clinton,” said Obama. “I have won more of the popular vote than Senator Clinton. I have more delegates than Senator Clinton. So, I do not know how somebody who is in second place is offering the vice presidency to the person who is in first place.”
