Dubai World Cup - Horse Racing and Bodog

With the richest purse in all of thoroughbred racing ($6 million), The Dubai World Cup is a can’t-miss event. It has been held at the Nad Al Sheba Racecourse every year since 1996, and it’s popularity just continues to grow, as it was shown on American television for the first time in 2006.
The first winner of the event was future Hall of Fame thoroughbred, Cigar. Last year, Invasor won with a time of 1:59:97. And while this year’s winner won’t be decided until Saturday, March 29th, everyone knows who the favorite is.
CURLIN TO THE STARTING GATE
Curlin is an American thoroughbred and winner of the 2007 Breeders’ Cup Classic and Preakness Stakes. Following his three-year-old campaign in 2007, he was named Horse of the Year and Three-Year-Old of the Year (much to the chagrin of rivals Hard Spun and Street Sense).
And now he’s back for his four-year-old campaign. Has he still got what it takes to get the job done? The oddsmakers over at Bodog certainly seem to think so.
