The FA Cup - Bodog Football Odds

The FA Cup, also known as The Football Association Challenge Cup, is underway. In fact, it’s already the sixth round of this knockout (single-elimination) tournament designed to determine the best football club in England.

The oldest football competition on the planet, the FA Cup has been around since 1871. For the 2007-08 tournament, a record-setting 731 teams have entered from all across jolly old England.

We’ve got giants, and then we’ve got giant-killers, as every team would love to be the ones to upset favorites such as Manchester United or Chelsea. And speaking of Chelsea, they’re the defending champs, having defeated Manchester United 1-0 in the 2007 finals.

But don’t cry for Manu, as they’re still tops in the FA Cup competition. They’ve won the competition 11 times, with 7 second-place finishes. Their last title came in 2004.
