Latest American Idol Results

On Wednesday night, another American Idol contestant was sent home. This time around, it was David Hernandez. As you might remember, he was recently involved in a scandal when it was revealed that he used to work as a dancer at a gay strip club.

But despite the recent scandal, Hernandez was confident that it had nothing to do with his dismissal. Instead, he blamed his poor rendition of Lennon/McCartney’s “I Saw Her Standing There.” The judges, who had been largely complimentary in the past, ripped Hernandez’s performance and helped seal his fate.

Before getting voted off, Hernandez was getting 28/1 odds to win from Bodog sportsbook. Now only 11 contestants remain until the next American Idol is crowned.
