Adam Carolla Eliminated from Dancing With the Stars

This week on Dancing With the Stars, it was comedian and radio host Adam Carolla who got voted off the show. Sadly, he was partnered with the incredibly fine Julianne Hough, so I won’t get to ogle her for the rest of the season. God, I can’t wait for the seventh season to get here!

After performing a dance routine which featured a unicycle and drew a 19 out of a possible 30, the writing was on the wall for the former host of The Man Show. Judge Len Goodman summed it up when he told Carolla, “You are such a lovable character that (we) just want you to do well, but unfortunately you’re not much of a dancer.”

KEEPING IT POSITIVE

But like Steve Guttenberg the week before, Carolla remained upbeat after his elimination. “I recommend this experience to anyone who’s scared of everything,” he said. “You at home, there’s something that scares you. There’s something that’s your Dancing With the Stars. Embrace it. Don’t run from it.”

He also had nothing but praise for partner Hough. “I lost 25 pounds of fat, and I gained 105 pounds of angel.”

THE NEXT ELIMINATION?

So who’s the next to be kicked off the dance floor for good? The smart money would be on Priscilla Presley, as she brought in the second-lowest score of the week with 22. Then again, Marissa Jaret Winokur seems to hover around the bottom, so it might be her getting the axe next week. The top spot, meanwhile, was a tie between athletes Jason Taylor and Kristi Yamaguchi - both of whom scored a 29 out of 30.
