UFC Fight Night 13 - Full Results
Another UFC event is in the books. This time, it was UFC Fight Night 13, the lead-in show for the debut of the new Ultimate Fighter 7. Not only was this show free on Spike, but it was also three hours long! Plus, only two of the twelve fights actually went the distance. How’s that for action? But you’re no doubt wondering who the heck won and lost, so let’s skip the witty dialogue and get straight to the results. As always, odds are courtesy of Bodog, the best sportsbook in the game.

UPSETS
With so many MMA fights, you have to expect that a few of them would be upsets. However, according to the odds posted by Bodog, there were a whopping five upsets. That’s exactly why you should be wagering on MMA, as it always affords the bettor an excellent opportunity to pick underdogs.
The biggest upset of the night was Anthony Johnson (+205) knocking out Tommy Speer in just 51 seconds.
Another major upset was James Irvin (+190) knocking out Houston Alexander in just 8 seconds. And believe me, anybody who’s seen Alexander in action should know that he’s an overrated fighter. Hope you were smart enough to place a few bucks on that one.
